« on: September 09, 2008, 05:59:28 pm »
i'm looking to buy another van in the new year and i'm really thinking about the thermo pure. if anyone bought the set up from them i was wondering what the monthly payments are over the 5 year period? could you also tell me what you got with it as well?

I'm looking at a new van and system from them

This is bang on if you are looking at the van from them as well.
We bought our van second hand, which helped to keep payments per month nearer to what NWH has said.

With the system you get everything to go with it, hose reels, 2x poles, ...... everything you need to get started.

Like NWH says....... its a big time investment, and you need to look long term on the whole thing.

It's a great system though, we like it  ;D

Swindon, Wiltshire.

the system i need is only £132.99 a month for 5 years including fitting and speedlining. if it was just that i needed i would probably buy it out right.

it is the van as well which takes it up to £422.26 a month which really i don't think is that bad. i just wondered what the difference in price would be with the various thermo's they do.

5 years is fine, i know a guy that does this and he is now selling off all his 5 year old machines and vans and replacing them with new ones

Cant find it. In the end i was just going for a 700 litre thermopure with no filtration, including fitting ect ect. £201 over 3 years, £133 over 5 years, all plus vat.

if them prices are plus vat, i could get a better deal buying it through the bank

Designed what i wanted, looked around and in the end went with waterfed pole systems. Got 3 man set up, 9kw webasto so its man enough to run the hot water on all pumps, lots of other things as well. Really pleased with it, had it now for a couple of months, obviously much better than my thermopure.

You would have to speak to them. As i was the first person they fitted one for, i got a good deal.

so by having an ionic system nice and clean, has it gained you any contracts by having the market leader fitted in your van?

Ha ha, no. Its down to the individual on how you sell your business as far as im concerned. I tell potential customers that i use hot water to clean and what the benifits are to them and most are impressed, but at the end of the day its a bonus for me to have hot water. i dont tell customers who its made by, that the system is thatcham tested ect ect, as what do they care. My Ionic system is over 3 years old and has never let me down, so it was well worth the money. In all honesty i went elsewhere for my new system because it was cheaper and because i got what I wanted not what they wanted to sell me.

its alright nice and clean i'm not green ;D i just meant any big contractors gone for you because you have the system? I have to admit i've been asked a couple of times wether i have a thermo pure or not. I think its quite a statement as well to have one. to me it shows success in your business if you have a thermo pure

No never been asked if i have a thermopure, most of the big contracts i have they have asked if i use waterfed pole, then i say yes and i also use heated water. I find the domestic customers are more impressed with hot water than commercial are.
