Got the george "Data Export" prog fom their website and sucessfully exported.

Quote
I would be interested to know what added field your export had. THe user I was testing with today had Status, First Done, Times Cleaned as additional

I also have the extra fields and so I'll delete them and see what happens.

I had the same fields as you listed...... HOWEVER..... Sorry to say that after double checking the export was NOT sucessful...... It only exported 76 of my customers and I have around 300........ ARGHHHHHHHHHHH...... I hate George......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regards and rants
Mr H

I dont have George here so can't help Im afraid. There are other users that have exported successfully and Im sure one of them can offer some advice??

Sorted it....... :)

Had to click the tab at the bottom of the excell sheet to bring the rest of them up.......
Very strage that as even the WCP import prog only registered the 74 customers.... Now I'll have a go and copying them all over......

I downloaded the Export prog this evening.... V1.18

Also had a little idea to speed up the transfer of details.......

I hardly ever use the customers email field so I'm going to go through and put the round name in that field . Then I'll save it in the EXPORT file. Then when transfered to WCP it will show the round name and so quicker to assign it to a round in WCP.....

Im working on a better way to organise the rounds once the customers are in WCP as we speak. On the import tool you can add the rounds names rather than enter them in the email field. If you add them in this field it will get copied across!!

If you are in no hurry then give me this evening and Ill see how far I can get.

Thanks

Richard,

I have just asked someone to download and send me the new data and the export file has changed so will make the relevant changes as it looks like the status is there now.

When you said it had tabs, do you know why it created different tabs? As in what data was on each tab?
Thanks

Ian

Just noticed I can EXPORT round by round.......

Helps if I looked at things properly wouldn't it... lol

Just tried to reproduce the file as before buts its now exporting properly..... Might have been an error within Excell......... It was the tab at the bottom of the page that says "GEOCUST"

I'm trying to get used to the whole worksheet thing.

How come it doesn't create an automatic worksheet based on the jobs you have due on a certain day?

Hi Andy,

The current way of creating worksheets is manual to allow the flexibility to add additional jobs or create mutiple worksheets for multiple days. I am going to add the ability to create worksheets based on criteria, for example all jobs due today, all jobs due this week, 8 hours work etc....

Hoep that answers your question
