I started off over 4 years ago with the powermax,up tool, wand, pipes, stain kit + training, you will also need a decent vac and a number of other things,if i was starting off from scratch again i would def add a sebo duo to the list,it`s improved my results by a monumental amount.
Also factor in advertising, flyers, leaflets, possibly a web site too.
First couple of jobs i did were friends and family, still pretty scary though, sometimes still scary when carpet changes colour when you apply the soloution !
Did a light green one once and first bit of fluid turned it dark brown ! was all the dirt in it,took a lot of cleaning before it went green again.Customer was stood watching over my shoulder saying i hope it`s not going to stay like that !
Sure the will be a few far more experienced c/cers along to give you advice soon
What goes around comes around

and not sure if there is much back up in this area. I think the rhino

Hi Ryan, Theres a good Prochem dealer in Greenock
www.prochem-scotland.co.uk his name is Alex

I thought Prochem were bringing out a 400 psi machine, never heard anymore about it?
I like the Steampro for its durability, as someone once said " It bounces well"  ;D
Performance wise not a patch on the Speedster.

If i was starting up now i would look for a decent second hand machine or contact Vernon Purcell via ebay for a new 500psi rhino with 12 months warranty for around £900 ish. I wouldnt spend more than a £1000 on a machine, spend the rest it on a leafleting campaign or marketing of some kind

Ryan,
Sign in to ebay, click on community, type in vernonpurcell Then from there click contact member. There is someone else with 2 of these machines listen on ebay now think they are £850 ish.

Clinton,
The new machine is exactly the same as the Steempro Powerplus with a gauge to adjust the psi.
I thought they would have give it a total face lift but they havnt.
