It would depend one what you get for the £200 if that quote was any good or not.
What you would put on it would really depend on what your business does. The company that quoted should have talked about this with you.

i do window cleaning 99% wfp,a few traditional things,he said it would be about 5 pages,give pay pal links for customers to pay,could put pics and a video up,also give contact page for folk to get in touch,not sure what else i need on it

Not being funny, or having a go at Ian because i know he is website mad, but is there a need for a website at all? Most of my work is from canvassing, word of mouth and free listings on several sites like yell.com. I haven't had a website since i started so just wonder if it's just a way of keeping up with everyone else and feeling left out 'cos you haven't got one?

my business manager suggested it,im trying to get into getting more contract stuff,and also looking to expand a bit,i have canvassed,and pick up work,not listed on any free sites yet,how u go about that??? and yeah feel left out a little

FTP it is a way of getting more business, just because you do not have one does not mean you should not have one, I have won many contracts because of having a website without one I would have had no chance, as they say you have to be in it to win it.

I would not argue with that m8 its your opinion, I just gave mine as I think they do help a lot
