« on: August 30, 2008, 02:04:29 pm »
have had this contract for a while now, i got there every week, monday morning and do some ins and outs varying weeks. anyway, a few months ago id put 1 invoice in, didnt get paid, so did next month and again waiting for payment, called a few times and they sent one they i had to remind them it was 2. i get on really well with the manager

anwyay, they did it again 2 months outstanding, i was calling in weekly and didnt clean again until paid "sorry matt yeh yeh ill sort it out" theyre part of another firm, anway, same again 1 payment so i keep calling and its like theyre getting annoyed at me! they owe me money

anyway last cheque came today and they have put we no longer require your services, i was there every week, doing the best job i could without fail then they do this, it was a big one too

feel like ringing up for an explantion but suppose its best to leave it lie

You just have to walk away mate , and not take it personally !  You can do without work like that anyway , just go out and canvass some better work ! There is somone advertising to build up rounds in your area in the equipment for sale section  ;D

Here ya go - - - - - -  charge just 2 cleans(1.5 when we exchange then the other half when you have done the first month of cleans and are happy with minimal dropouts) makes us all happy then, I cover all m25 and surroundings. im from s e london myself.  Im a great canvasser and usualy get good results, I used to be a window cleaner so I know the trade inside out and go for good work. iv built and sold rounds for quite a while now and am confident you wont be disapointed with the work i get for you. trials welcome. lets see what we can work out.

You have really lost me, you claim to be able to build rounds for people, but you are first in West Yorkshire, then located somewhere around the M25 in S.E. London then your going off to Spain.

Build me a round?? No ta.

Maybe they're feeling the pinch?

I know in the past I've 'robbed Peter to pay Paul' and strung out suppliers as long as I possibly could!

You never know, maybe they've done the honorable thing and paid you up and let you go before they close down/downsize or whatever.

If they didnt specifically let you go because they said your work was bad, I wouldnt worry about it too much.

Let them go with a polite letter thanking them for their business and if they need your services in the future...blah blah Thats what British Gas did when I left them for N-Power and guess what?? I'm back with British Gas now!

Had one exactly like that recently.  The only difference was that I was the one who decided to walk and I informed them verbally that the service is now cancelled and that I do pursue outstanding debts.  Since then, the first two invoices have been paid by BACS.  There are still two outstanding though.  I'll allow to the end of September before I pursue though.

I wasnt suggesting you make an offensive response, no thanks for that; you know nothing about me so arent in a position to judge whether Im a professional or not, I was offering you an opportunity to explain your work situation, you may benefit from that.

However, if you scroll back through posts on here to the time when you were here as Jonah, it was me that stuck up for you and your health issues after you'd deleted your account when others were slagging you off and taking the p.
