Everyone on here secretly knows trad is far superior to wfp , end of argument  ;D
Evryone who convinces themselves because their either too scared to learn a new method,  or cant afford to switch!!
Otherwise i think its accepted that wfp is the future overall. So stop being a luddite and grow with the times. These posts make me wanna kick someone off a ladder :)

As for this cleaning 5th storys, what about 44th floor and so on. you need to absail down and use trad tools. So if you can get to a window trad can clean it

On some buildings yes, I just landed a job with 8 stories and all can be done with wfp.

All the windows swivell round, im using trolley system to clean from the 5th floor up, and van mounted 4th floor down I turn & clean the window 90 degrees from inside to face out of the building. And before any wise cracks about water dropping on peoples heads, there is no paths or pedestrian below this building.

Why not go wfp and pick up enough work to not have to work with the shelf stackers...

You can do more work, but you don't pick up more work because of wfp, that's rubbish.

I pick up less work than when I was trad, by a mile.

Rubbish, domestic maybe but commercial no way. I have picked up £8000 (per year) of new commercial work in the last 3 months, if I was still trad I would of got none of these jobs why? Because the people were looking for a wfp w/c. They want the easy option regarding H&S.

I wasn't talking about commercial.

I never get any of that anyway, apart from pubs and shops.

If your using wfp properly, you should be finishing work quicker than with trad and hence have the oppurtunity to fit more work in each week, at least half a day more, and wy would you pick up less by being wfp.....need to get off ones butt and do some canvassing if you got no work coming in, no point complaining.

Ok ignoring commercial, (although if you want some help getting some email me I'm not far away from you - dont mind helping!) you should be able to get more work wfp than trad as there are more properties that can be cleaned wfp than trad. Go find the ones with conservatories, 3 storey townhouses etc. These are all customers that have trouble finding a w/c that can do all the windows. Target these and you will see you sales rate increase. You have the tools so take full advantage of them.

I'm not complaining you offensive turd. ::)

Why would you pick up less?

Because customers prefer the finished look of trad and wfp hasn't got a great reputation around here.

Yes I can fit more in now, but that doesn't mean I have to go around like a desperate salesman trying to get more. ::)

Sounds like it to me, and who is being offensive
I'm not complaining you "offensive turd". Roll Eyes

General statements like "i get miles less work doing wfp" sound defeatist and moany to me, like wce says who you just thanked, go target some properties that would benefit from wfp, and no it isnt "desperate salesman"like, thats just your defeatist moaning again,

Turd

I was going to ask the very same.
Quite fancy a trip out further afield.

It would have to pay at least as good as my usual day though to be worth the trip.
It's not that I haven't got work to do, just wouldn't mind a change.

I'll mail you later this afternoon.

Cheers.

No problem, Duke is down here too (think you know him) I'll ask him if he has anything going as well. I will also target work in your area if you want. I am willing to show you how I do it. I look forward to your email!
