Reminds me of a few weeks ago.

Woman calls me to clean 5 beds, landing & stairs. Can u do it this Sunday?. Didn't ask for a quote.

I says, don't usually work weekends, but ok then.

Arrives at job, peops moving out that day. 2 Mercedes v8 Commpressors in drive.

Measures and quotes £182....she's gobsmacked!  and says the last time I had a full house of carpets cleaned it was just £65....thats very expensive!

I thaught walk or reduce price as only a few hours job.

I said, seeing how rooms are clear, will do it for £160...all ok after consulting her hubby

She had a good deal, but had small expectations about price.

Thats the problem when clients see an add like that and it stays in there mind and like me sometimes i dont quote and just turn up and when i say the price there shocked,leaving me to try and sell my services on quality and a nice job done.

The theory goes

Filter out the price shoppers we are not interested in them

But how many of us have an abundance of leads  to do this?
