varistream problems
« on: July 26, 2008, 04:32:36 pm »
hi
been using a varistream/100 p.s.i. surflo combo since last october. this week been taking longer to cut out , pressure builds up and on realising trigger , jets burst water out like a pressure washer , way to much for wcing . so i decided to adjust blue dial - i did this when i initially set it up. anyway  heres the problem, even turned down to min. pump continues for 12-15 secs any ideas hope its not broken as it is still under warranty, but hassle sending back waiting for replacment
cheers

Hi Daz.

Have a look for ANY water leaks at all AFTER the pump and I do mean any at all. Anywhere between the pump and your pole trigger.

For once I am saying I hope that someones set up is leaking somewhere  :o

Also check that you electrical connections are all OK.

Hopefully it will get sorted.

Andrew

No Daz.  You have it right.

You disconnect the wires from the pressure switch.
