there is a standard one for free issued by hse. google it an you will see it pop up. this will give you the legal required statement, but will not impress companies, i had one written bespoke and cost £400. depends what you need. if you've already got a contract n need to be legal the freeby is spot on

the perrycleaning health and safety policy is mine and although i am not against anybody using it i must state that this policy is just the starting point and lists other paperwork such as training records risk assesments etc that you should have in place to copy it word for word, if you where to use it and didnt have the other information when asked for then you would look rather silly, or even worse if a member of your staff was to injure themselves and you claimed to be following this policy without the relevant paper chase then you could be in deep poo.
our health and safety policy costs my firm almost £5000 a year to produce and maintain and i would advise anyone writing a health and safety policy to make sure it is relevant for there own company and not just anybodies.

as long as he doesn't copy it word for word its not plagiarism and its in the public domain i.e., on line with no copyright, besides i like to annoy people back. you posted an unnecessary comment on my post so karma to you

cheers

sorry you got annoyed i only stated that in my experience rounds in this area usually sell for about 5x if you can get 8x then good luck to you, and i didnt say he couldnt use the health and safety document just pointed out the problems with doing so, are you packing in window cleaning or just selling part of your work.
