Red and/or Blue marks on pvc doors
« on: July 21, 2008, 08:26:03 pm »
As the title  says , I noticed a few of the doors I clean have a small mark , lookig   like a crayon has  caught them , didnt pay much attention  till i noticed it on several of the doors in my  round  .  Curiosity aroused , I started to wonderr  , now Ive  realised what the red marks are , but  cant think what  makes a blue mark on so many doors ? , anyone think of an answer, I wont say what im pretty sure  causes the red ones,
Guess any one ?

the red rubber round the brush maybe  ::),
if your getting marks you are being slap dash with the brush and banging it on every thing, use a little care and control and you will not get this ;)

One of my customers recently rang me to say she think that I had marked their white conservatory with my yellow hose.

I went and had a look, and on all the corners of the side of the conservatory there were yellow friction marks. I said I cant believe it was me but I offered to try and clean it off with some T Cut anyway as they are lovely people.

I cleaned off all the marks and still didnt think it was me until today...................I was pulling my hose around the conservatory and watched where the hose trailed and yup you got it. It trailed around the same place as these marks. :-X

Be carefull lads :-\

You must have really bad quality hose then, even when ripping it past walls, the minibore doesn't get damaged, nor does it leave marks. Never had it I must say.

All hose will eventually get damages trailing it around wall IMO.

Maybe I do have poor quality hose but hope not. I like to think I was pulling too hard on a conservatory corner which will explain the friction marks.

E Gods ......................... thouight someone might have  guessed the red  marks

The red marks   I realised later in the day when it got warmer and those tiny red mites cane out , the  little red  "spier" insects that  swarm over some walls, the odd red  mark is a squashed red mite.

The blue  marks ...not a clue, so  still interested  in any  theories, or evan if anyone has seen  them on their rounds
and Im  cleaning trad , dont think the marks are anything to do with me

I think they are actually baby spiders, yea, they can be a real pain.
