DEwalt challenger 2 boots
« on: July 18, 2008, 04:37:52 pm »
This has been done before but, I have been converted from timberlands to dewalt challenger 2 boots by a builder mate of mine, in all this recent rain they are definitely 100% waterproof, lightweight (feel like trainers), steel toe capped not that you would know it and wear much better. I can work in all weathers as long as my feet are warm and dry! just thought i would share that with you all!

You guys that wear boots at work are you wfp or trad. Im 97.5% trad and hate getting my feet soaking wet wearing trainers but find them comfortable on ladders and safer when walking on sloping roofs. Dont want to get loads of you shouldnt be on sloping roofs posts, i was just wondring if trad guys wear boots as well. I tend to wear my oldest trainers and get through them in 3 or 4 months so i would buy some boots if they were to last longer.

I've just bought two pairs of waterproof leather walking boots from Trespass £65 for both pairs, seemed ok yesterday when they got a soaking.
