Ok Folks.
My tap water is measured at around 80ppm.
At the moment I'm using a RO + 1 Litre Di to purify my water - into a holding tank, to which I then transfer to my vehicle tank.
No problems with this, 000ppm, and I produce enough for each days work.
But, I figure the water costs me £300 per year ( including wastage) and £70 ish pounds on filters and resin.
With having a low input reading of 80ppm, would it be more cost effective to say have 2 x 11ltr Di tanks after my vehicle tank and just fill direct from the tap?
After the cost of the Di tanks, roughly how much should it be costing me per year in resin?
Doe's it give the pump more work to do having to draw the water through the tank?
Just a thought at the mo, but I'd appreciate your input.
Thanks
Marc
