What would you do slx/sl2/x-tel
« on: July 14, 2008, 07:27:59 pm »
At the moment ive got a
18 foot x-tel with sill brush which i use most of the time,
27 foot xtel 28cm Vikan Mono-Filament Rectangular Jetted Brush which i only use if i need to get to windows above con roof, and a
30 foot extel 28cm Vikan Mono-Filament Rectangular Jetted Brush which i use for 3 storey town houses and also at full length on a 4 storey which is a nightmare, ive also cut down a 10 foot (or about that )to about 3 foot with a 28cm Vikan Mono-Filament Rectangular Jetted Brush
to do small access ground floors,
ive also got another green x-tel with the green with 28cm green brush which i use for con roofs.

the thing is im thinking of getting the slx, will this reach 3 storeys, also thinking of getting the sl2 but ive only got a few 4 storeys so dont no if it justifys getting this and should i just struggle through with my 30 foot, also if i do go for the slx which other poles and brushes would you stick with, or shall i just sell all of them and get the slx and 40 foot sl2.

Just need advice. thanks in advance.

i would definately get the SLX and probably get the 40ft SL2 if you need to go higher at a later date more sections for SL2 can be bought then, as for which brushes to use i cant really help as i find i cant make my own mind up about this and tend to swap about between different ones but each has its own downfalls.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

All poles flex, the sl-x just flexes less than the others i believe. Have a look at Gardiners website for the charts.

All you need is 1 x SL2 of a height of which you will need 35ft upwards,1 x SLX or 24ft facelift carbon and 1 x 3x3ft short pole. These 3 poles are all you will ever need and are the best on the market at the moment and trust me i`ve tried some poles out. ;D ;D ;D
