Slide one inside the other with a thin film of superglue - you end up with a shorter section but it will keep you going untill the replacement arrives. Ie top section inside lower broken section.

FTP has given you good advice. If it is a clean break, then sliding the top section inside with some 'Superglue' on the join will usually work very well. Also it is a good idea to tape the join afterwards to prevent catching your fingers on any splinters.
We do have spares in stock if all else fails.

Was going to try that but couldnt remove the small section with the brush adapter on it so i have fixed it another way for now by putting a piece of wooden broom handle inside both sections had to shave one end and then force it into the top part as far as it will go then just used electrical tape to join the two parts together hope it last
Thanks both of you will try that if it doesnt hold
Alex i will order a new section eventually and other bits and pieces but have just bought a new van and system and funds are low at the mo

As long as you're able to work, that's the important thing.

just a thought maybe you should order 2 top sections from alex, just in case you break another one.

Yeh Alan and while he's at it why not order an extra no 2 section and 3 and 4 etc cos he may break them
When did you get your new job. Sales rep for gardiners. LOL

its common sense mate - if he has broken a top section then logic dictates that it is likely to happen again.
I'll assume a top section is £50, £100 isn't a big outlay and should he break it again then he'll have the extra section there, saving time and money.
I'm no sales rep for gardiners, I've never dealt with them - I may do in future but as yet I haven't.
Sales rep? Alex couldn't afford me
Just kidding alex
£75k and I'll think about it.

if they were breaking like that constantly i would want my money back!!...im sure they dont but i dont think it makes sensehas there supposed to be robust and if they werent im sure they wouldnt be so popular.
How did you break this section?

I'm not sure how i broke it i was driving along and heard a cracking sound in the back of the van and found the broken section i think it got trapped somewhere not sure
To be honest i like the SL2 but i find it fragile and am always scared of banging it against anything so i only use it on high work and some awkward windows its so close to being a brilliant pole but for me just falls short so i will stick with the facelift pole for most of my work

If you use the S2 for what it's designed for then it's very robust. It's not good for shutting windows or levering against gutters but for scrubbing windows it's superb.
