I've mentioned this a few times, and to be honest the idea hasn't really generated the interest I'd been looking for; to recap for those that might have missed my repeated hints:
Point one
Poles wear because dirt gets between the sections, this is introduced largely by the pole hose being on the floor picking up grit and grime as we work and then depositing this inside the pole when it's drawn in during extension.
Point Two
Working with pole hose spagetti on the floor is not only an ungainly tangle inducing mess. It gets trood on and tripped over and skipping over it like a girl looks very unprofesional. Add to this that it often catches itself on garden furniture while working or moving between windows and maybe it's about time we did something about it?
So the great invention is an idea to keep the pole hose off the floor. Is it simple? Yes. Does it work? Yes.Should I show and tell? I'm not sure, that's why i've put the poll up.
