Which water pole system would you go for?
« on: July 12, 2008, 05:30:53 pm »
Hi guys.
We have had our ionic system in our van for past 4 years and been happy with it.  Now we are thinking of upgrading to bigger system, my question is, as there are more companies that do similar system for much cheaper price, which company would you say is the best and cheapest to go for?

Best regards

Yes, I can and I did speak to one of their representative, basically he tried to sell me a new system, and when I asked him about just upgrade he said some thing around £2000, which put me off of dealing with them.

Can't you just add an additional smaller tank to your system and use a transfer pump  if need be?

Yes, I think the best thing to do, is make the tank bigger I have only 300ltr at the moment and I like to upgrade it to at least 650 litre, but I have to find some one who know how to do it well, because I have a ionic thermo pure system and to tell you the truth is a little complicated for me to do, so if any of you good fellows know of some one please let me know. I need some one who has done this sort of job before.

Many thanks for your feed back.

If you have an Ioncs 300 litre thermo system and you want to upgrade to a 650 thermo at a fraction of the price Ionics would charge you than why don't you take the frame to a coded welder who does stainless steel and have the frame extended. You'd also need to have a custom made tank to fit inside. The most important thing about welding stainless steel is the preparation prior to welding. Has to be 100% thoroughly clean otherwise it's detrimental to the welding.
