I recently did an inside clean for a gentleman with UPVC frames. He's also a heavy smoker and you can guess the state of the frames which he also wanted cleaning. I used Ettorre Squeegee Off and it was fantastic at getting off the nicotine stains. Brought the frames up lovely real quick. However, I had a limited supply of Squeegee Off on me and ran out just before I finnished. I used Fairy to finish the last frame. It was absolutely awful. Sticky horrible mess it made. Left my hands in a right mess too.Ettorre Squeegee Off works best for me. Cuts right through the grease.
Thanks. I'll remember that as it looks like being a regular twice yearly job.
it is now 2008, I used if for many years myself and what Kev posted it 100% true, I am not trying to covert just saying it works better for us, less work better finish/lasting 12 years things change fella

Just looked in garage. the SYR Slide professional window cleaning detergent I bought about 12 years ago is still there. Just doesn't slide at all, not enough friction reducer in it. I bought some Unger professional detergent about 6 month ago. That doesn't slide either. Ended up throwing it away. Both just catch and leave smears whilst Fairy liquid, in its favour, does slide over the window without leaving smears. I will buy some GG now though to see if that is any good.
At least with Fairy, if the customers came the old game.. "not this time", you'd just add a lot more Fairy the next time and before you knew it, the moaning customer was back to a regular clean Can't do that with wfp, shame
Anyway Kev R you are spot on with the guttervac so I am going to take your advice. Is it GG3 or 4 for hard water area, or which one to mix with pure water
