GG3 and 4  are every bit as good as fairy as they are all detergents, however gg3 and 4 make less mess, leave a better result and the windows stay cleaner for longer too!! Believe it or not its cheaper in the log run too!

The secret is the hot water as this helps to lift the grease and helps the detergent to do its work a little faster.  A microfibre sleeve will also help due to its microscopic construction.

FAIRY is for dishes not for glass, but there are professional window cleaners and there are people who think window cleaning for a living makes them professionals LOL  ;D

I know people sayits a waste, blah blah, but i do put a drop of gg3 in the bucket and fairy on the applicator and the reflection is dazzling!!!

Kev: what do you use to wash your glasses (i.e.wine glasses) at home if you don't use Fairy......surely you don't use GG3 or do you use a dishwasher and use Diamond for that clear professional shine ;D

Ok get two buckets of water add Fairy liquid 2 one and gg3/4 to the other and clean two separate windows traditionally.

Next place your hands (one into each bucket) take them out - shake them off and then let them dry naturally.  You will find that the hand you place in the bucket containing fairy dries sticky. This is because fairy leaves a sticky residue, GG3/4 does not!!!

Ok next bit - leave the windows to the elements. After a week have a good close look, the window with the fairy on will be dirtier I guarantee it!!!! leave it a month and the difference is really noticeable.

Why because fairy leaves a sticky residue that dirt/dust sticks to. Its a fact!!!!

When I learnt to clean windows I learnt with fairy liquid. Why because as my old boss said the windows get dirty quickly and the customer wants you back. And its true just try the above experiment.

I would rather sell a service that keeps your windows cleaner for longer, use a professional product that works out cheaper in the long run, is easier to remove from the glass and sills as there are no suds.

You can make more money from less work if your product has the edge over the competition , but hey when wfp came along most people thought I was mad then too mostly other window cleaners though!!!!

I recently did an inside clean for a gentleman with UPVC frames. He's also a heavy smoker and you can guess the state of the frames which he also wanted cleaning. I used Ettorre Squeegee Off and it was fantastic at getting off the nicotine stains. Brought the frames up lovely real quick. However, I had a limited supply of Squeegee Off on me and ran out just before I finnished. I used Fairy to finish the last frame. It was absolutely awful. Sticky horrible mess it made. Left my hands in a right mess too.

Ettorre Squeegee Off works best for me. Cuts right through the grease.
