Hi,

As you may have read on previous posts I am just starting out in wc and due to start up costs I am going to use trad methods first. However I have been canvassing and already have quite a few people who want their conservatory roofs cleaned.

Can you tell me what is the cheapest wfp system that I could get please? I wouldn't be using it all day, just for a couple of jobs.

i have just set up a friend with all the basics found varitech the cheapest as long as you don't mind building it yourself also don't take the first price you are offered phone around another one to try is chic cleaning many more websites to list

The cheapest way by far is using a backpack.
I don't know the cheapest place to buy 1 though.

a brush that you buy from halfords for cleaning cars that connects to their outside tap/hosepipe,cheap as chips...

Buy a backpack and if things improve, as you are hoping, it will be more than useful in the future.

I'm not necessarily suggesting that you go this route, but do a Google search on "FREE WATER FED POLE DIY GUIDE" and go to the web site which suggests that it is about diy and water fed poles.

The info might be useful.

I'm not sure how up-to-date the prices are.

A tip for Cons roof cleaning with WFP.

If the customer has a tap handy just use a length of 1/2 inch hose and use tap water to get rid of the crud. You can use loads then. Try to do them in damp weather/light rain coz the bad stuff will already be softened up. It works well and you get through them quicker. For the final "polish just a decent rinse off with pure water (A backpack full should be plenty for most con roofs it you are just rinsing)
