If the original pump is turning on and is speeding up and slowing down using the varistream numpty I would suspect either a bad airlock or dirt has got into the pump. Do you have a strainer on it?

both pump,s will pump water if i connect direct to battery
but not not to varistream
if water coming out wood that not clear airlock?

Air lock. Suck some water through, or get pump beneath or lower than the hose outlet.

Have you unscrewed the strainer and taken out any debris? Have you adjusted the cut off pressure on the varistream? This is easier if it's digital.

Are you saying that the pump that wasn't working worked ok without the Varistream?
And that the varistream was working as far as it controlled the pump speed?
If the varistream changed the pump speed, then it working.
My guess would be that it has to be air getting into your system.
The pump works when wired direct, so the pump is working, if water was gushing out, I would dismiss the dirt theory.
That only leaves airlocks, you have eliminated every thing else.

How's business going Andrew?

OK thanks  :)

Like anything new there are a million things to do and not enough time to do them but things are moving along nicely.

Thanks for asking.
