if that were the case it would be worth a hell of a lot
lets say you caculated it at £500 per week profit that would make it worth £26,000
not sure you could sell for that

Must say that it seems to vary wildly on here, so you will only be getting my opinion & nowt else.
I have bought domestic & commercial work, the domestic seller & myself agreed on 1 & a half times the value. His work was worth £1000 every 8wks, so I bought it off him for £1500.
The commercial work I bought went at double its value. I think it was worth £260 or something, and I paid about £550 in the end. On another one it was worth £110 a month so we agreed on £220.

Going by the above if I was you, I would value my commercial work differently to my domestic work then price accordingly.
It's also very well establised, so this would help as well.
Minimum should be £6/7000 IMO..... maximum well......could be worth a lot more to some...so it could fetch £8/10,000.
Like I said there are some who will say you could get a lot more, but this is my experience of buying work.

If you added a fitted van and a website to the deal i think it would be worth a helluva lot more.

it could all depend on how much could be achieved by one man per hour or per day...

If I had some work what one man could earn say £130 per day on I would value that at x3

If I had some work that  one man could earn £250/300 per day,If I ever wanted to sell it I would want a lot more than x3 for it ...maybe x8 or x10.

its not wild try looking on websites that sell businesses!

or call one of them they will come round go through everything you have normally 3 years account profit and loss, etc.

most businesses are sold for a figure based on the annual profit so if you can prove your profit at say £2000 per month over twelve months thats £24000 and they would look to push double or even treble for it but not more than the profit will generate over the first three years of the new owner.

you can even add into or on top of it the equipment etc.

if you have commercial and they are on decent contracts then it could even be worth more.

its only become the norm to buy and sell domestic at two - four times because most of the time there is no contracts, no accounts and its down to goodwill.

we have all heard of the company OCS ring look up there accounts online see what they turn over a month then ring em up and offer 2-4 times it!!!!!

Im sure that you would get a nice responce.

those that dont agree simply ring up a business selling agent and ask them to come round and value your business then reply on here with the outcome you may be supprised.

advertise in the right area and you will get what you want, the example of the business for £90,000 jus goes to show, do you think he took £12,000.....no chance.

A good profitable business run has a business will with out doubt exceed 4x(in my opinion)!
