Must be a bit of weight in the pole using reinforced hose all the way to the jets Wayne? Why didn't you use the clear pvc 6mm ?

It's lighter pole hose (it's not microbore hose) 5mm supalite pole hose from Varitech, more supple and doesn't kink, distinctly visible, I like it :)

Cheers, just had a look in their booklet  :)
Wish they had a website though, I'm sure they would sell loads more gear.

The swivels are really good on them tile grout brushes. Makes it easier, less effort cleaning the glass as the swivel does some of the work on your behalf , especially on large panes of glass. It's also easier to clean windows over conservatory roof's from the side, instead of over the conservatory roof :)

i think you are right, the fella at tucker doesnt know what hes talking about, there going to phone back and sort it out
i ordered a tucker catalogue and price list last week, just phoned them this morning quoting the part number for a 12" double trim brush, part number 101, its £13.86 + vat, so i orderded 2, the part numbers are on the price list not in th catalogue.
i think it was NWH has been saying this for a while now.
I think you will find part 101 - brush head - actually refers to the part that attaches the brush to the gooseneck NOT the brush itself.

If you look in their brochure uner the heading "Brushes" you will find the 12inch double trim brush priced something over £40+VAT.

Hi Steve, did you get it sorted?
No it`s not it`s the brush itself,i saw the brush advertised as a part when i came across it and it was about £12.

You are the only one who has seen a tucker around £12 NWH and no one on here seems to have been able to buy one new for anything less than over £40+Vat.

I have the current brochure from tucker. Please tell us exactly where to get one for around £12.

Tuckers used to charge £57.00 for the brush cannot see them dropping it to £12.00  ;D

I will say when you show a product on your site for a certain price - it is up to the buyer to decide whether they want it or not, its when its the only place you can buy a certain product from that is charging really high prices, thats when its a rip off.

£42+VAT for a brush head??

If this brush is as good as people say then I honestly can't see why 50 quid is a problem at all ???

I've never tried one but if the tucker was THE brush for me & served my requirements better than any other brush out there I wouldn't give the 50 quid tag a second thought!

The sl-x is 400 quid (approx) & i would have no problem replacing it every year if need be. These tools pay for themselves very quickly indeed (if you're good at your job that is) ;)

I was using a long hybrid pole for 2 hours this morning after using carbon poles all day long every working day of the week. Really noticed the difference today, (pole was so whippy in comparison). Wouldn't like to go back to glass fibre poles EVER unless it's a mini pole for confined spaces.

Need a day using inferior poles to appreciate how easy it is with superior carbon poles :) SL-X brilliant pole. :) ;)
