connecting freedom trolley to tank
« on: July 05, 2008, 06:59:18 pm »
Can anyone tell me how to connect my freedom trolley inlet pipe up to a 350 L tank that I have fitted in my van.
I would like to be able to take the trolley out for about half my work but leave it in and use a hose as well, but I cant figure out how to swap from one to the other without wasting time.
My tank has a standard male hoselock outlet.
Anyone done this?

put a female hoselock onto the end of the pipe on the trolley that goes into the barrels.
Oh yes, you also want to make sure you have and on/off tap between the trolley and tank for when the trolley is detatched.

do yourself a huge favour and strip your trolley and turn it into a van mount , get 100 metres of microbore and a split charge relay , you won,t miss the trolley one bit and you won,t have to keep charging it up regards alan

Put a male hoselock on the trolley hose, put a hoselock "stop" female conector on the tank hose. This way there is no need to fit a tap to the tank hose. ;)
This way you wont have to waste about 2 seconds turning the tap on and off every time you want to disconnect you trolley. ;D
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.
