spitfire wiring help

just finishing rebulding my spitfire but got a white wire not sure were it goes i have all the white earth wires going to the engine but this one comes from one of them. ???

Where are the yellow ones going, white is normally earth?

hi  Len the two yellow go to box on the side of engine ,its the spare white is doing the head in,

2 yellows go to the regulator, Dave Annable has a Spitfire he's from Stockport www.supaclean.supanet.com/index.htm

on a kohler engine there is an earth wire that you fix under the  regulator housing when you bolt it back on? could be the same for yours too?

forgot to say snap, well nearly. It's a spitfire 4.0 also.

I have at times been intimate with the wiring. ;D
