Hi there

Am doing a few con roofs over the next few days and using tfr for the first time.

Is there a particular type to get - my supplier mentioned that the ones he has (evans and staples) are both high ph and perhaps I should be looking for a neutral one?

Method wise do you just spray on, leave and then pole off?

Go for the non-caustic TFR.
Spray on with a hand sprayer leave for 5-10 mins
then rinse off.
If you leave it on any longer I have found it starts to leave
streak marks.

Yep, definately the non caustic. Dont buy anything else.
The only diferent thing I do is rather than rinse it off I use an old wfp brush, connect it to the customers tap and scrub the roof and finials, capping etc.
I always go straight to the roof as soon as I get to the house and spray the roof the go off and clean the windows on the house to give the TFR a chance to work but dont bother cleaning the windows above the conservatory until after  the con roof is finished.
Gotta go as my sugarpuffs are geting soggy..........

Yes, but I just tend to spray it on the polycarbonate roof and all of the white surround on the roof. I dont bother on the sides of the conservatory because a bit of elbow grease is normally enough. I dont spray it on glass roofs just in case it does have bad effect on the glass  , anyway tap water and then rinsed with DI water seems to do ok.
I will put a thread up to see if TFR is okay on glass roofs
