The only person to fear about someone coming onto their patch is a rubbish window cleaner. If you are good at your job and have a good rapour with your customers then you should be safe.

When a customer moves they will ask us to do their house in another area, I would never dream of saying sorry but that is another window cleaners patch!

If someone came onto my area and took my customers away I would seriuosly look at what I am doing wrong provided the person was legit, if they were not then I would get him carted away. ;)

Sorry can't understand that attitude.

Sounds a bit like old fashioned communism to me, believing private initiative is to be feared.

So, nobody allowed to canvas in peoples "patches", and may only start up as a window cleaner by buying a retiring or dead WCers round ??

I note you are the only one of the correspondents on these threads that thinks it a good idea.

Cheers,
Neil
