I know this might sound silly but honest try it!
In the morning before you start your first job do a good 5-6minutes warm ups, rotate your wrists to the left 10 times to the right 10 times up and down 10 times.

Then repeat this with your ankles and bend and stretch your knees, trust me I do it every day and it helps I also suffer from Carpel Tunnell Syndrom which dont help and for that on my really bad days I wear special wrist supports they have like a metal splint in it to keep my wrists from straining too much.

I got them from the hospital but you can buy something very similar at the chemist there about £10.00 a pair and worth it. Im only 30 and had this for 10 years so age doesnt matter. ;D

At one time i weight trained 4 times a week. The best thing for joints is 2 table spoons of cod liver oil a day if you can stomach it  :)
But you have to take it long term, yes it does work after 6 weeks.

It's no big hardship taking it every day Jeff, if it cuts out the pain in the long term  ;)

I'm just trying to advise some of the youngsters on here

Glucosamine is in tablet form used by athletes and very active people for replenishing normal wear and tear on worn cartrilidges, joints and tennons as an additional food supplement :)

Its not just window cleaners that get problems. A friend of mine who is a mechanic is crippled with his back from all the bending. He says you rarely see an old mechanic.

I think if I was to do a video of it I would only be adding wear and tear to your joints as you would be rolling around the floor laughing your back side off LOL.

i think trad is better on your body.

as long as you dont fall off the ladder.

like i did . ???
3 pins and a disabled foot .

but if you dont fall .trad all the way.

The rotator cuff is an extremly complex joint, i have been bodybuilding for over 20 years and suffered a shoulder impingement about 4-5 years ago, it came on very slowly to the point i had to stop completely.
I had a cortisone shot which cured the sharp pain i was getting but the problem is still there, but does not bother me unless i train out of a certain area, ie flyes, pec dec etc. i. I started wc 18 months ago and its ok but i think we all need more dietry fat in our diets especially from red meat and also eat a couple whole eggs a day and just generally eat a good healthy diet.  The fats for lubricating the joints.

pacing yourself is a good idea if you can afford to do it!

jouk, I used to get bad sharp pains in my shoulders... I nearly dropped my ladders once through it when going "up & over" an outhouse.

several people on here recommended arnica flower capsules, so I started taking them along with glucosamine and cod liver oil.

the pain DISAPPEARED WITHIN A WEEK and hasn't returned a year later!!

seriously, get some from holland & barrett or cheaper online at zipvit

Lying toad! all you ever do is try and bait me into sharing my secrets. To be able to think on your feet and cope with pressure is the most marvelous feeling in the world.

And anyway you're to lazy to have any joint problems.

I was laid up for over 5 weeks through agony in my shoulder from working with the washer and squeegee.

It was so bad that I was in agony when sat perfectly still, and no amount of painkillers helped much. :o
Couldn't get much sleep either.

One of the most painful experiences of my life, and what prompted me to turn to wfp.

Just waiting for the onset of wfp injuries now... ;D

I've got lots of problems with my elbows and between my shoulder blades. I am fairly sure my problems are to do with the repetitive nature of wfp. I switch left to right handed and change my grip, but it's the back/forward motion that has caused my problems. I do this 3 to 4 days per week and am an otherwise fit 44 year old, but I am now wondering how long I can sustain this level of abuse.  ???
