First I would ask why can it not be done wfp, is there anywhere to tie the ladder off?.
if not to then I personally would walk away.

Take all necesary precautions then you will be ok
What height is it? and why cant it be done wfp as that obviously would be the safest option

i wolud say height would be around 30 ft , reason it cant be done wfp is that the building as just been painted and theres paint splashes all over the glass which are going to need a scraper .

I have a 30ft set of point ladders that I would use footed and if they didn't reach then tough, you'd have to use a cherry picker.  9 meters is the max you can go to on a ladder with it being footed.

Simon.

its a really big job i reckoned it would take 3 to 4 days with wfp , but since i gave my quote a couple of months ago things have change , painters have been and painted all the outside render and theres splashes all over the glass which will now mean going off ladders with a scraper , taking maybe 2 days longer so the good price i put in now dont seem that good anymore .       jonah im going to pass your number on to the project  manager today , i will see if im allowed to take some photos .
