Hi Guys

Just had a call about this years books, have to decide by 25th June.

They have actually put the price up even though usage/sales are falling.

I asked what deal they would offer me in respect of falling use, none was the answer.

They offered me a number to show me that sales were not really falling and that Spurs will win the treble next season.

Cheers

Doug

Hi Guys

I think it's a sign of YP's market position that they have this arrogance about doing deals.

The market has changed and all companies have to adapt to this.

I must be lucky then, I refused to pay for artwork, and he also offered a deal on free colour  ;) sounded desperate to me, kept plugging the yell.com for £275 but I declined as never works for me.
This year has been diabolical out of the book, so I'm not holding my breath. ::)

Can all the carpet cleaners in my edition of YP drop out......then I'll be the only one left ;D ;D

Although i agree I'll still only  probably get the price shoppers and time wasters.

Oh well. back to the drawing board. ::)

Doesn't set the world alight but it pays for itself. Plus if you do a good job on the back on this then you can oick up further work via friends/neighbours/reatives etc.

Hi Guys

Whats hacked me off is increasing prices on a product which has decreasing value, they could at least have done a same as last year price offer.

The internet grows all the time and lots of people don't even bother opening the packet now.

However as people like me drop out then that must improve things for those that remain, a slimmed down book is still likely for a few years yet.

Cheers
