On the whole i don`t like them,i like them more than others but i`ll tell you what they do they strip paint from frames on wooden window`s.I used 1 for a while a found it stiff and noticed it was over time helping the paint off,in places it looked like it had been rubbed down only slightly but i could see it was the brush cos it appeared on a few houses,i also found it left spots behind aswell with that brush much like the mono vikan does.It works better on PVC or metal frames for rinsing on the glass,if i had to describe it i would say that it`s a commercial brush.

I'm using one, and I like it.

I can compare it to the Vikan rect. the super lite brush, and the old ionics crinkle mono.

Ionics dual trim is the best of those in my opinion. :)

Rinsing brush on works a treat.

To NWH, yes it is stiff, you don't notice it on windows that sheet nicely, but on beading windows, it doesn't seem to splay the brush nicely, haven't taken off paint yet, well not really, and I've had terrible, no awful flaking frames, yes it does take the paint off a bit, but with an applicator and microfibre I used to take off as much.

No problem with spotting so far, I give the brush a good scrub with my hands from side to side after doing a window on a first clean, might help.

It dosen`t hold dirt it`s a mono,it`s supposed to be used with hot water, that why they changed it because the old 1 used to curl up with hot water. This brush is not as stiff and works better with hot water.

Even a mono holds dirt for a little while, check a red vikan after doing dirty first cleans frames. It doesn't immediately come out again I've noticed, it can transfer to the window.

I know it does that`s why it`s C***,i would check 1 and if the dustman not been i still might be able to.All vikan brushes are transport cleaning brushes there not supposed to be used on house windows although suppliers will tell you otherwise, ionic brushes are made for cleaning windows vikan are not.The only thing wrong with the new ionic brush is that it`s a bit stiff, but when used with hot water it`s not.

I'm quite happy with mine and haven't had any problems with it at all, and I prefer the stiffness of the new Ionics

NWH-  In your own words, your best all time brush is a salmon- A BRUSH WHICH IS DESIGNED ONLY FOR SWEEPING FLOORS & NOT CLEANING WINDOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!.
So how can you justify your repeated comments about vikans being rubbish because they were designed for washing vehicles?? ::)

Sweeping floors Vs Washing vehicles. Which one comes closest to washing windows ;)

A vikan will not leave spots if used in the correct manner, infact a competant, experienced wfp'er can use virtualy any brush & get good results. In the end it comes down to personal preference & technique. ;)
