When i first started using modular poles a couple of times i left a section behind on the grass when using up to 7 sections, when lowering the pole you sometimes leave them and forget as your working away. You get back round to where you started and forget there round the back,i must admit it dosen`t happen anymore these days.

Three 100m hose reels - never seen again!!
Three slip and slides - found still in place on next visit!
30ft carbon pole - returned next day, still on grass!
Numerous hozelock fittings - these seem to have legs!
Harris pole - still to be collected on next visit. Too far otherwise.
About 50 microfibre cloths! - over a few years.
Two squeegees!
Numerous employees! - can't take the pace!

I left my backpack outside someones house once. Drove 20 minutes to my next job to realise it wasn't there. Drove back bricking it all the way as I knew it was just sitting on theor driveway, fully expected it to be gone but it wasn't.

Have lost two brushed in the past. I expected to see them next time round but never did.

In a previous job as a datacomms engineer I left a 10k test set behind me on site. The site also had one similar and when I rang to arrange pickup they said 'how do we know it is yours and not ours?'. Thankfully the name of the company I worked for was engraved into it.

Nearly 11 years ago when first starting I poured a bucket of water down the drain at the end of the day.  I had forgotten to take my applicater and blade out and the blade went down.  I felt like a right Rodney as a couple of kids were watching me at the time.

We have lost and found numerous trip hazard signs on jobs.

Simon.

Microfibres and scrims all over the place.
Squeegees on window cills when doing cherry picker work (one of my favorites that)

As sort of mentioned earlier I left an employee on an estate. Well to be honest I sacked him on the spot and told him to start walking

A customer gave me back a spray bottle and I hadn't realised it was missing, which was nice.

Also realised I had left 2 ladder mats somewhere, but didn't know where. Found them next time around where I had left them.

I'd probably lose my head if it wasn't screwed on.  ;D
