Has anybody got these? If so, where did you get them from?

Vistaprint sell them. Be careful though. Magnetic signs blow off in the wind.

I've got magnetic signs.

We work away a lot and need to take our vehicles onto campsites - with our caravan - but they don't like sign written vehicles on most sites so I got three sets done by Signs Express - local to us in Stoke on trent.

I got mine very cheaply - you would be surprised how cheap they are. I don't encourage anyone to drive at 100mph but they are strong enough to stay on at those sort of speeds as well.

i had some on for a while but while removing them to wash the van
found tiny rust spots under where the signs were :(, so if your gonna
use them remove them when there not needed.

My signs are years old now and still going strong, I moved them onto my trailer 18 months ago and there is rust behind them, so like jmb say's, remove them when not in use.

Ok thankyou both for that. I will only put them on at the first house, then take them off on the last job, so should be ok.

When I used them on my car, I just put them on in the morning before going to work and then removed them when I got home, the trailer is a different story, I didn't need to remove them  and now there is rust behind them.

Oh right. Is this because of water getting trapped?

Are there not any other solutions for disgusing a sign written van for a camp site?

And anyway these are people who live in tents and caravans what have they got to be snobby about?

Is it more to do with discriminating against travellers?

I could always use the netting that the army use in forests etc.

Not really alternatives - they don't like vans never mind sign written ones. There is this perceived problem on campsites that if you are towing a caravan with a van that you are a gypo.

I think it is also coupled with an element of I'm too far up my own a*se to have you park that horrible commercial vehicle anywhere  near my lovely caravan.

I have been refused access to so many caravan sites that I have to spend a good day trying to get us on sites when we go away for work.

At one I was booked in and had paid and when we got there he did not want us on site -I argued and told him what I thought of him but then went on to spend about £600.00 on camp site fees somewhere else - his loss!!!
