Gone quiet where you are?

Very quiet on new enquiries at the moment - just the usual tiny jobs. How's it for everyone else?

would say it is quieter than this time last year, but we are really busy, so haven't really had time to notice! Have quoted and got a few in the last couple of weeks from referrals, so nice work coming in ;)
Of course we are coming up to silly season, so it always goes quiet for us on enquiries in July/August

Hi Helen
Great weather, long daylight hours - I think I'll take some time off this time next year, rather than just Christmas.  Started a new guy 3 weeks ago, fit and willing, but decent new work is hard to find at the moment. Stacked with existing work from Thurs, but finishing 3pm today.

People's minds are on their gardens, coming holidays and the doom and gloom on the TV!

This year has been a boom year for me. I have just quoted a job that is nearly £7000 per clean! This morning I have had 3 people ringing up looking for a window cleaner. I have also just received an order for £1500 of sparkle cleans that start tomorrow and need to be finished by next Tuesday. However a lot of window cleaners in the area I know have been saying that it has been quiet for them and the build/sparkles have in general been quieter but everything else has gone mad for me though. I must just be lucky!

We leafletted about 400 houses the week before last and only quoted for four jobs out of that lot; and I only got two of those (nicely priced though; which is what put the other two off).

I picked up a £60 pub; but apart from that, it's been pretty quiet round here too.

As with most gaining of work...right time right place. We are lucky enough to have more than enough regular work and have the luxury of quoting only where we are already established and of course those higher paying ones too! ;)
Chris make the mosy of early finishes......I look forward to seeing your future post saying" Not enough hours in the day!" ;D ;D
