Would like your opinions Guys on my new site - designed by Mark Roberts.

I know its a bit lacking in text - all off the top of my head, so if it is similar to anyone elses I assure you it is entirely co-incidental.

Your opinions would be greatly appreciated - negative ones as well.

Link page isnt working yet, once I give Mark the ok to optimize it, I will re-post and offer links.

I like it Steve.

I see its quite similar to Shaun's but it does look good. Have you considered a page for other services i.e. spot & stain, allergies or the like? Also I  noticed you dont do curtains - is that cos you dont want to do them? What about rugs?

Over time Im sure your going to gradually make it even better than it is already. Well done mate, and we will gladly link.

I was going to comment but by the time I'd returned to this site I'd forgotten what it looked like.

But from what I remember........its boring and forgettable, if I was searching on the net for a carpet cleaner and looked at lots of sites yours would be lost in the crowd.

it needs something to grab the reader and make them remember who carpetcareplus are.

I also thought it was very unpersonable, you're a good looking bloke, I'd like to see a picture of you. The text need to read like you are speaking....eg


"Hi I'm Steve barnett from Carpet Care Plus, when I clean leather I use only the finest chemicals collected from the sweat glands of Arabian gysum monkeys"

or something like that

BUT!!! I know nothing about websites and don't have one, so what do i know

Mike makes a good point, I have become concious of writing loads of boring websites, we can become obsessed with rankings and forget who we are trying to sell to.

I know rankings are the most important thing but a strongly selling website is also important.

Why not ask your wife - mistress - mum about the serious considerations they might make when contacting
a carpet cleaning company, try to be honest a factual without getting to technical.

Good idea but stress they should not think about your question for long as it loses its reality
