Titan goes Triple
« on: June 10, 2008, 07:22:28 pm »
Well, it was certainly worth waiting for and provided the answer we were looking for, 'Would Titan be effective in Triple Mode?' Answer, 'Oh yes!'
We were working on P&O's Aurora and had a window of opportunity to clean three rooms at the same time. The suction to all three was awesome and provided drying times of just over an hour.
The solution temperature never dropped below 210 degrees to three RX20's...awesome.

He's the Boss and can wear whatever he wants.  ;D

As the Yanks say AWWWsome piece of kit!

Without rehashing an old topic. I wonder if they have portys on board for cleaning spillages at sea?

Mike,
They have a number of portys onboard to do the areas that are too small for us to do.
I also do the C&U training for the fleet and so I am off to Dubrovnik of Friday to meet a ship, train up some of the crew for three days and then travel back from Athens. The week after that it's off to Rome and back from Barcelona. Well, some poor sod has to do it, might as well be me!!

Theres no getting away from the fact that is a serious bit of kit ! With that type of job to do in the time scale given no other way will do.
Look at the type of work you do or want to do then work out what you need to carry it out so your happy and so is your customer then go for it and do your best.

Des,
Around 700 feet but can take more up to 1000.

Mark
We do a pre-planned circuit of each ship in a year. A 70,000 cruise liner like P&O Oriana has 26 miles of carpet and around 5,000 pieces of upholstery and Queen Mary 2 is 152,00 tons and has so many miles of carpet and chairs it just doesn't bear thinking about.
