will need to earn £20 000 in a year. He plans to work a 40-hour week with
4 weeks paid holiday in a year. He estimates that
• one tenth of his 40-hour week will be taken up with activities that he will
not be able to charge for
• due to the weather, he will only be able to clean windows for 35% of the
remaining working week
c Calculate how much income per hour the young man needs if he is to make
