Need some advice!!!
«

Hi All
As I live in a large Farming community (and being brought up on a farm) I am thinking on adding a Milking Parlour and Shed deep cleaning service to my services. I know cleaning a Milking Parlour will be a minefield but in a past life I was a Dairy Engineer which I feel reduces the risk some what.
I need some advice on what product will be best to use in the parlours bearing in mind I will be removing vast quantities of dried on cow poo.
What I was thinking off is a foaming product which I can spray on the parlour leave to dwel and loosen the soiling then blast off where possible with a steam cleaner.
So any advice on what product will work best in this enviroment and any general advice will be a bonus..
Thanks
Duncan

I worked in a food factory and used a product made by Johnson diversy called endurochlor, this was applied by air sprayer to foam, left to dwell and hosed off. I'd get the rep in to look at what you want to do and go from there, they can also help with the risk assesment and method statement.

Thanks for the info I will follow that up sounds like its what I am looking for for the heavy duty cleaner.
I am also looking for a sanitiser to be able to cope with Enviromental & Clinical Mastitis, Calf Scour, and other farm infections. Was thinking down the lines of a Peracetic acid as a final spray.
Again any advice would be very helpful
Once again thank you

I have no idea about those things - put me off milk !!!!! paracetic acid was used to clean pumps etc that had to be worked on to save doing a CIP. Again speak to johnsons for direction and advice even if you seek cheeper products in the long run
