The wording doesnt sound quite right. Also there are no genuine photos - just stock.

Brand new? - so he's bought them but hasnt touched them, and now wants to sell them.... wouldnt he have been better to return them to the supplier at a slight reduction from the brand new price - as opposed to getting a lot less on Ebay?

Iffy - who knows  :-\

Why does he head the item as "Blazer Machine Carpet clean" when he then goes on to say he is selling a "Legend"

Hi Guys

I too noticed the advert appears to be contradictory.

I think it may be a way of generating interest or that he doesn't really understand ebay.

However it could be a scam to.

Cheers

Looks like a "piggybacked item" the ebay account holder probably clicked on a dodgy Ebay email some time ago which enabled the scammer to "key watch" as they typed in their Ebay password. They then sit on it for some time and watch which accounts do not have much activity then place an expensive item on the account. All emails etc are changed so the original account holder isn't even aware of the listing. Payment will go to a false paypal account.
We have been informed that the cleaning equipment section is one of the worst for scamming and as such no money will be released from paypal accounts until favourable feedback has been recieved from the buyer.
If ever buying anything off Ebay be very carefull now. Apparently the Russians managed to access thousands of Paypal accounts and are now using them to con people.

Just wondered. What do you do when you see something like this? Do you inform someone on ebay or just leave it up to them and hope they spot it?

Joe...running an on-line business you need to keep up-to-date on all aspects of internet trading.  Fortunately, we have extremely good tracking software on our on-line shop which allows us to identify possible instances of fraud.

well its gone for £1650.00.  There was a total of 22 bids from 9 ebayers.  The winning bidder was bigal61red.  This guy bought a Karcher Prex300 Spray Extraction Machine in the middle of May this year.

the winning bidder said he would pay cash on collection/delivery and got no reply. I warned him it may be a scam, he was already thinking that
