Quick question Alex, why do you have about a metre and a half of pole hose from connector to hose? I've been using a length of about six inches for a couple of days so i can grab the microbore easier to tug it without straining the connection.Ooh i like the idea of the push fit connection on the valve, the old olive and insert type gas valve takes precious time to fix on the fly.
Alex does that mean ill need a flow valve connected to each pole, at the moment i have female hose connectors on all my poles and the male one with tap on hose, but have been thinking of changing this over, and i have to hoses which has been a god send as i had a replacement when my other hose valve wouldnt connect to my pole.Chris
Personaly I prefer this set up (same as Jaykie's......) The hosetail is connected to the microbore so fewer connections to get damaged or fit. Then you just have connectors on the end of your poles rather than taps. It also means you can disconnect and/or change poles with out haveing water flowing all over the place. Its also slightly cheeper as you have fewer components....www.wintecs.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=58_56_71&products_id=917&osCsid=95a61041d38e5eef2b517be9eb89d92a
