don't work for taxman , but read a post about someone's "rainy day fund", just wondered how many others felt like that. I don't think tips should be declared, but I spent years working in hotels, and the taxman just asumed you got tips.
you wouldn't declare a couple of tinnies, so you shouldn't have to declare "get yourself a pint", but all money worked for should be declared.

I was only joking mate!!! I think that tips should be tax free IMO. Funnily enough did you see in the news about the restaurants that were using tips to count towards the minimum wage? It seems some of them didn't think that the employee should be rewarded for their hard work LMAO!
