Anchor points for Restraint System
« on: January 18, 2005, 05:42:16 pm »
London Environmental Health Officer of one of my customers (a Georgian 5 storey town house hotel) has told the hotel management that they need to install internal anchorage points in all 20 odd rooms that are above the first floor, that can only be accessed from the room itself.

Question - They asked me to give them the names of a few companies who can install and test these anchorage points to satisfy EN 795 : 1997??

Any ideas??

Anchorage points (or eye-bolts) are installed and tested by many companies, usually those having an existing expertise in rope-access or fall arrest.

They have to be tested to 10kN and certified annually.  Here are some companies that I know of that will do it:

There are many more
