DI PROBLEM
« on: May 24, 2008, 11:42:44 pm »
Pure is comingf rom RO but when I connect DI to pipe from RO  no water is coming out of DI outlet pipe.  was before but now nothing.  When i take top off of DI massive amount of air and presseu are release so put lid back on re tightened and still no water coming out of DI outlet.  It is going in to inlet.  Do I need new DI canister as Riser gone?? or is it something easier to fix??

I've been using RO then DI for a few weeks and no problems before.  Using pump with 80 PSI.

Ideas??  Happened to otehrs before??

Cheers

sounds like you have a blockage in the DI's outlet, Can you take it apart?

The connector won't come off the Female to Female reducer as every time I unscrew the FF reducer the connector unscrews as well.

The white connectors that was on the DI are all identical but one side has a small green button that can be depressed, and the other has a grill with three small bars across in Y formation.  Please confurm which is inlet?  Does water flow into button side and out of grill or otehr way round???

the quickest way is to connect just a tap to it, one way in one out (this way on mine, I put a booster pump on mine the wrong way round no water came out till I touched the connector it blew off soaking me and van, I had put it on the outlet.
