New equipment
« on: May 21, 2008, 09:03:29 pm »
This is a flat surface cleaner vacuum recovery system you
can actually clean indoors with this unit can handle 4000psi
at 5.0gpm and can handle hot water as well up to 200 degrees
I've attached a picture of the unit. This is a very substantial piece
of equipment.
They also have recovery systems for the pressure cleaner as
well which I will post later.  Please let me know your thoughts.

That looks like a great bit of kit, although I bet it costs a small fortune

how much water does the recovery tank hold, and do you waste a lot of time emptying it, also when the tank is full does it make the whirlaway hard to manouvre due to the weight of the water and finally do you need a seperate electric cable to run the vac part. p.s how much is it
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

The hopper holds 16 gallons and the manufacturer provides
100' of hose to drain it off to a holding tank. The unit has 4 wheels so it is easy to manuver even when full. The unit comes
with 2' of electric cord with a GFI box and plug
If you email me at fox@merrillfoxenterprises.com I can give you a price I am not allowed to give prices on this forum.

Hal, why won't you use proper gals or ltrs while pushing your products on this site, does this piece of equipment syphon the water fron the sludge or do you have to empty it every time you have used 16 us gals of water through your washer. As a thought where was it manufactured

The unit has a separate water pump in it.
It can pump the dirty water up to 100' away to a separate water tank that you have so you do not have to empty the hopper.
If you don't have a separate tank you will have to empty the
hopper every time it sucks up 16 gallons.

They have an option which is a separate filtration system for this unit so that you can recycle the water and use it over and over again.

So, correct me if I am wrong but :- you will need a generator or a rcd supplied power cable running over a wet drive to power your sucker thing that you will have to empty every 4 minutes on a machine that runs @ 15 l/min. The second tank that the other pump fills with recycled water obviously would be used by your jetwash, in my opinion would severely limit the pumps life. I can see this thing being a good idea abeit a totally impractical way of collecting slop, I personally have a bucket with some holes round the top, a small shovel and a hand brush. This piece of equipment may have a home in the most water sensitive enviroment but not on a rainy wet British drive IMO
1 US gal=0.8327 Great British gal
1 gal= approx 4.5 l

Yep, that about sums it up for me too!
