You are joking right?! Is this inclusive? If so I would be very keen for details. Have you seen websites which have already been provided by this establishment up & running?

Most of the businesses I have approached offering this type of service start at around £150.00 and then a further £50+ annual hosting charge.

Do let me know

Good Luck!

Ahem.......I hope you dont mind me butting in ;D
If you have managed to get site design, domain and hosting for this price then go for it, but just in case that price is only for hosting and domain.......
I can offer a six page site for £123 this includes
Design
Hosting for 1 year
Domain Name for 2 years
Upload to server
Submission to Search Engines
guest-book (if required)
counter (if required)
up to 2 photos per page

Updates/alterations to site cost £16 per hour but all but the most drastic changes can be undertaken in much less time than this.
PM me if you would like more info or to see some of my sites.

HI  this is Carl at Mattress Angel ::)

If you want a cheap yet quality webb site, but dont mind a very simple  easy to use process to build your own webb site the I recomend   www.1and1.co.uk   Im currently building a site and its £10 per month with free domain name. They charge for the first 6 months this includes the hosting.

You can of course upload your own photos and logos worth a look  ;D

Hope this is helpful

Carl........

Web sites can be any amount of money and so can hosting, I just sold a site (13 pages) for £400 not brill cos it took me forever and cost me about £130 for hosting and domain names etc

This time I took an American package at about £100 and am currently building about 30 pages on it.

With the prices quoted above I hardly think anyone is getting ripped off considering the overall value of a web site if its used properly.

However what I have seen is some awful home builds, you know those with terrible photos, like:

"this is me with my carpet machine in my back garden" looking professional.

or

"this is my sign written van outside my house" ignore the kids toys and the wife doing the windows and the dog pee'ing up the wheel.

or (and the best)

"this is us (well me and my mate)  pretending to be doing something important - in shorts, flip flops and Man United t' shirts.

Another personal favourite for me is the home build guy that’s found the gadget button for adding effects. or includes massive photo files. Not understanding that each effect or gigantic photo file can take so long to load that people cant be bothered to wait and just move on.

There is nothing wrong in building your own site, its both economic and practical if you dont mind doing it, however just remember a few basic rules and view as many other web sites as possible so you can see what really does work. After all you have millions of £'s of work by professionals out there at you finger tips and its all free  ;)
Everyone seems normal untill you get to know them!
