Advice please

Got a carpet to re-lay and clean on Monday.

The carpet is three quarters of an inch thick acrylic saxony, which has been completely uplifted and seems full of dust from building works.

Am I right in thinking that a lot of the work to clean it will be done during vacuuming ?

Any reason why I can't use Pureclean on an acrylic ?

Hi Steve,

Acrylic fibres have good chemical resistance so you can use just about anything recommended for CC but Pureclean would be a good option.

Have fun vaccing.

Cheers

Yeah big Chris - 6.5m x 7.75m

Gonna be a struggle as it is to drag it back into the room to fit it, let alone flip it over first and vacuum the back  :o

Steve

As Doug has stated, acrylic responds best to good quality chemicals.

They also clean well with heat.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

Steve,

Yes you are right............more prep spent on it initialy will benifit in the long run, as Chris stated vac it where it is first.

No reason at all...........easy fibre to clean sounds like a 4th or 5th generation nylon.
