Shurflo backpack
« on: May 05, 2008, 12:03:58 am »
Hi,can anyone tell me if these are actually any good? Im basically just looking for something to use for the odd hard to reach window and dont know if its necessary to get a trolley. How is the water purified on the backpacks? Also will a window cleaning pole fit on it? Do you always need a outside tap? Can they connect to a 25L barrell? For the sake of maybe 5 houses a month which have difficult windows it seems like a good idea but not sure how good they actually clean the window? Any advice please guys.

I have a backpack for some of my more awkward access jobs and find that it is a great tool
It does not purify the water so you need to put pure water into it
It can be quite heavy working with it on your back for longer periods so if you dont want to put it on your back use a cheap sack trolley and a couple of bungees to hold it on
And as long as the connectors on the pole hose matches the backpack hose you can use any pole

If its only for 5 houses a month why dont you buy the backpack and adapt it to take a pole then buy pure water from someone local??
