anybody know any good income protection insurance company's???????

I had one ages ago from a company called " CICA" it cost £18 , but it only payed out it you were hospitalised !    Havnt seen them around , they used to have agents to sign you up  ;D

I put up a post like this some time ago.

The above guys have a web site. Not bad cover for the price.

I took out a policy with my Liability insurance from the NFWC.

i think your find that cica isnt a income protection but accident and sickness policy.

if you want a more comprehensive policy go to a broker.

very important if you want to cover mortgage and so on ,or if you have dependants.

o yes and its not cheap

The problem I've found with these policies is that the small print can be horrendous - eg what counts as a qualifying reason for being off work?

Also if it kicks in after a week it costs a fortune and if it starts after three or six months you're in shtuck!

Also they only last a year or two and then they stop.

It's a game of three halves!

hi check out a company called pioneer very good cover that does not cost the earth been with them for years

I checked this out a few months ago. I went to moneysupermarket.com for a look around.
I didn't think it was worth it after getting a company with one of the better looking policies to send me a prospectus. If i had a wife and kids i would have done though.
The small print is key.

ive been to the moneysupermarket and applied, after a month of debate by themselves they turned me down saying i diddnt match the criteria...
