well i aint put my prices up since ive started... far too longer a time

but with all the new work i get on my new prices i just cant keep cleaning the old ones at these prices

anyway, ive been putting most up  a £1 or £2, and no one has battered a eyelid so far, just "thats fine" i feel myself apologising, i know i shouldnt. but theyre all fine about it

gonna have a massive cull of my work i think, these price increases will bring out the cream in my work

I put all my prices up last year and again this year and didnt lose any i hoped i would as some are still under my new pricing rate eventually the bottom end work will be passed on as i now have more and more work at the top end and need to make room for more

but extra £9 from other houses so extra £1, and for 1 less house, bargain!

Been doing it this last week. Lots of small jobs together. All up 50p. A couple of grumbles from the old ones and I have sympathy. Their groceries, gas, oil, electricity has gone up. Not one has dropped. Maybe I should have said £1, and got a few to fold

50p is old school in window cleaning. Prices should be rounded up to nearest pound and increments in pounds not pence.

When I first started window cleaning I used the 50p rule that a lot of old window cleaners use. I found this a pain as come collecting time I had to have a pocket full of 50p and £1 coins, now it's only £1 coins.

The problem a lot of us have is the fear factor the customer will cancel on us, but how many times I have had a customer move or cancel there are two new ones around the corner.

Go for it times are changing , prices are rising.

Yes I am in the same boat but mine are going up £2. If I lose 20% I am still no worse off and some really need to get sorted out. Trouble is the ones who need it most are the best / oldest / nicest / customers.

i know what you mean though! it is hard to tell a old dear the price is going up, when theyve just counted your money out in pounds from there pention.
