I am in desperate need of a new brush and would love to get a tucker brush (see if it lives up to expectations). Does anyone know if you can fit a tucker brush to a standard x tel pole?

No you can`t,you need to go to a hardware store or ironmongers and buy 1 of those handles threads that they use on wooden broom heads,you will need the jets that tucker supply or ionic.fit the plastic thread on the top of the stock of the brush with 4 screws and away you go.Tucker brushes are supposed to be used with there gooseneck assembly only,but doing this gets round it.

Or do like I do and fit an Ionics gooseneck to your pole, fit the Tucker brush to the Ionics gooseneck and use Ionics jets for your Tucker brush.

seems like a lot of hassle! i think i will forget about tucker and try another type of brush

Dont give up on getting a tucker brush  fitted they are tops i love em but the ionics dt brush is v good too.

I am trying an ionics dt brush on m new slx and i am very happy with this combo at the mo.

Will they be selling pennel clamps for the old aluminium original poles that you use to have to adjust with an allen key type tool? Would like an email address or website or even contact telephone number of UK distributor if possible ...... any links?

My advice would be soften those brutal stock edges and widen those way too central jet locations. That baby looks like it could do some serious damage!!

I used to use a tucker pole and brush many years ago. Brush had good bristles, but I found I had to exert way too much pressure to get the outer bristles to splay enough to get the inner bristles in contact with the glass. To achieve this i felt I was actually going to break the glass.
