If you've got 6mm and you're set up works with it, great! If you move up to 8mm it'll be even better.  For the simple reason you will have greater flow control than you'll ever get using 6mm.

6mm is very hit and miss with quite a number of set ups, these problems are virtually eliminated when people move up to 8mm and you still have all the benefits of microbore.

ive got 8mm with 100psi shurflo and digi varistream, i put it on 1 and leave it on one, the pump quietly chugs away happy, and i think it will do so for a long time...(shouldnt of said that should i)

the 6mm is on a flowmaster and i have it on setting 3 at least, so there already the pump has to work slighty harder...

Never really thought about it, started with 6mm and it works so thats what I stuck with. All my fitting are 6mm so it would be a job to change.

Intersting what Alex and Foxman said about 8mm though.  I'll have to think about that because I am planning to get a much longer hose set up.

when you hear of all the problems people have with there hoses it allways seems to be 6mm never 8mm so for that reason i stick with 8mm    marc

about 100mtrs of 6mm on all our reels, all 4 run @ setting 2 on digi varistream, no problems at all, plenty of flow and easier to work with than 8mm but did use 8mm before - it was fine, no problems with it, just 6mm is a little bit nicer to use.
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

hi v8dde couldnt quite understand your post but if your asking where you can buy this hose the answer is us. the microflex is a hose that we have had custom made for the job and is exclusive to us. you can contact james on 07881780987 or the shop phone is 0115 9394444
